And although he had become the perfect husband in many ways, Sara couldn't shake the feeling that he may still be hiding something. Sara's suspicions only grew stronger when Chris's behavior became more erratic. Determined to follow her gut and uncover the truth, Sara started digging deeper. What she found shocked her to her very core. To protect herself and her children, Sara is forced to take matters into her own hands.

The boundaries between right and wrong are blurred as their friendship is tested and secrets are revealed. They must confront their own demons as they navigate the treacherous waters of life. Will they survive the chaos or be consumed by the murky depths of their beloved creek lands?

Hector is a human-eating cryptid and self-proclaimed culinary artist. He takes pride in only killing criminals as a vigilante for the public. He revels in his appetite being satiated in pursuit of this higher purpose. He carelessly documents his actions in a cooking blog, but no one ever reads the long-winded stories that inspire the recipes, always skipping ahead to the instructions. This works to Hector's advantage as he believes the complacency of humans will afford him the privilege of never being caught. Through his online story-telling, we catch a rare glimpse of pivotal moments in history, told from the perspective of a mysterious outsider always lurking in the shadows. However, as Hector continues to navigate through time, he comes to encounter something he never thought possible which could threaten his entire existence.
